Through this sustained partnership, restoration activities are contributing to biodiversity conservation, landscape recovery, and the protection of Mpingo within community-managed forest areas.\r\nMCDI extends its sincere appreciation to YAMAHA Corporation, a long-term private sector partner of the organisation, and to the Otonomori \u2013 Forest of Sound Project for their valued and continued support. Their partnership reflects the importance of long-term collaboration in advancing locally rooted conservation action and generating lasting benefits for both people and nature.\r\nThis planting effort in Kikole is therefore not a standalone intervention, but part of a broader and sustained restoration commitment that continues to build ecological resilience, support community participation, and promote the long-term recovery of village forests.","image":"1778740057_WhatsApp Image 2026-05-14 at 07.40.25.jpeg","category":"Updates","location":"newsroom","created_at":"2026-05-14 06:27:37","updated_at":"2026-05-14 06:30:48"},{"id":"7","title":"Mpingo Seedling Planting ","content":"Mpingo seedling Planting Likened village Forest, Ngea Village - Kilwa,\r\n2,000 Seedlings Planted in 4 Days ","image":"1774853391_Screenshot 2026-03-30 at 09.30.26.png","category":"Updates","location":"newsroom","created_at":"2026-03-30 06:49:51","updated_at":"2026-05-14 06:31:17"},{"id":"6","title":"Bridging the Gap: Integrating Multiple Forest Values into Policy","content":"What is a forest worth?
